Archived graphic from a book titled “Refraction and how to refract : including sections on optics, retinoscopy, the fitting of spectacles and eye-glasses, etc.” Published in 1900 was mirrored and recolored in Adobe Illustrator. After design was finalized, it was printed on SCAD’s Fabric Printed then went in by hand to add beads and embroidered details.
